Both privately and professionally, Jeffrey
actively serves in a variety of community,
state, and religious organizations. In his free
time, he enjoys the outdoors, skiing, and
cooking. He and his wife have four amazing
kids.

  • Tax planning for $37M construction business resulting in over $11M in federal estate tax savings
  • Represented family in $50M+ sale of family business (QSBS stock) saving about $10M federal capital gains taxes and $1.6M state income taxes on the sale
  • Represented CFO of a going public start-up in design and implementation of asset protection trust plan ahead of IPO and worked with IPO counsel to ensure SEC compliant disclosures were made in IPO docs
  • Represented owner of $350M luxury product business with design and implementation of domestic asset protection trust
  • Represented co-founder of a cryptocurrency issuer in the structuring and use of a domestic asset protection trust
  • Represented private equity partner in making of a $12M gift to a completed gift trust to lock in and take advantage of historically high estate tax exemption amounts
  • Represented trustee in administration of $9M of trust property including business assets, real estate, insurance, non-traditional retirement assets, establishment of Electing Small Business Trust (ESBT), and partial sale of S-corp assets to a third party
